John Gibson grows and exhibits daffodils, he brought a display to our Spring Show last year. This year he has kindly agreed to judge for us and after the tea break he will show us slides of another of his passions - Madeira.

Stuart Dixon - Border Gems

Stuart was booked for 2011 but we had to postpone the talk when he visited his daughter in New Zealand. It will be worth the wait. His talk on ‘Border Gems’ will feature campanulas, salvias, irises and more! Many of his slides show plants he grows in his 18th century garden at Hebbs Farmhouse, Nottingham, which has been featured on BBC TV.
